healing process

My podcast guest, Dane Stevens, created a healing process to help people create their best life and their most extraordinary relationships.

Dane Stevens created a healing process to help people create their best life and their most extraordinary relationships. He’s the owner and director of An Extraordinary Life, a company that promotes healing, awareness and self-empowerment. He developed the Neuro Trauma Healing Process – NTHP – out of sheer necessity when his nervous system became dangerously compromised. He’s the author of, Reclaim Your Power to Create Your Best Life, which reveals his story and the process.

The Neuro Trauma Healing Process

What was the catalyst that led to you developing the Neuro Trauma Healing Process?

It was out of necessity. I was doing well in life except for my relationships. I saw a pattern and it made me look into my childhood trauma/abuse issues. A therapist tried to force the trauma out of me. It messed me up. I felt fear and it didn’t go away. I felt unstable. It took me five years to discover this process that goes from healing to empowerment.

What is the Neuro Trauma Healing Process?

It creates a higher consciousness by taking the limiting beliefs and removing them to reveal who you really are. It’s a left/right brain writing process. To love yourself, you have to get to know yourself. It’s abstract work. You have to be open to it. You also have to be open to the possibility that you’re responsible for your life. It’s not to blame. It’s to take charge of processing now. Safety is key. We create a safe space.

How do the Neuro Trauma Healing Process and Soul Re-Cognition apply to relationships and dating?

We work one-on-one and in groups. We give people access to their subconscious mind in a safe environment. Whatever holds a charge right now is the universe trying to get your attention and draw you inside. When issues come up, you’ll be able to go inside and bring it to resolution. You begin a dialogue with your inner voice, accept yourself, and give yourself what you need.

How are you doing in the area of relationship now?

My better half, Annie B, was my high school sweetheart. We reconnected and it’s effortless. That’s been the biggest manifestation of this work. I had been in an unhealthy relationship before. I stumbled upon a book by John Bradshaw that helped me connect to my wounded part. I finally found someone who would do the work with me. It flowed out of me and connected me to a higher consciousness. I broke up with my girlfriend and moved back to Canada.

I sent a Facebook message to Annie, and a few months after I moved back to Canada, I heard from her. We went for a long walk and haven’t stopped since.

What are your final words of advice for someone who wants to go on their last first date?

Observe. Be patient. Go inside. Observe your world. Be patient and accept yourself to understand what’s going on for you. Don’t skip the inner work. Go inside and connect within. The fear will dissipate.
